Virginia Wedding Lodging and Reunions at The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm

The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm is happy to host a large group stay for a Charlottesville wedding, family reunion, small conference, or girls getaway weekend at our bed and breakfast. We have a variety of lodging options to choose from. You can book a group of rooms, a whole building such as the Main Inn or Farmhouse, or any combination as meets your needs. We are able to host small weddings and elopements here at our bed and breakfast, with total attendees up to about 20 people. Also we often partner with local wedding venues such as Montfair Resorts, Mountfair Vineyards, King Family Vineyards, and others to serve as the local accommodations for friends and family attending weddings and events at those locations.

Facilities:

We have a variety of options of rooms available for your stay. You may choose to rent any of our entire buildings or a set of individual rooms according to your needs.

Rooms:

Main Inn

Our Main Inn has 5 rooms available. Each room is double occupancy. Three of the rooms have king size beds and three of the rooms have queen size beds, all with private baths. One of the rooms with the king size bed may also be configured as two twin beds instead.  The various common areas inside and outside of the Main Inn, including our dining room, Great Room, stone patio, and upper deck are shared by all of our guests. Rates vary per room and season.  The average rate is $240 per room/night on weekends. The entire Main Inn sleeps a total of 12.

The Farmhouse

Our Farmhouse has 4 rooms available. One room has a king size bed and three rooms have a queen size beds, all with private baths.  Two rooms also have day beds for additional guests. The room we call our Apartment also has a front sitting area with a day bed and a large kitchen area, a perfect gathering spot for your group.  The average rate is $190 per room/night on weekends. The entire Farmhouse sleeps a total of 10. Air mattresses are also available for use in the Apartment for additional sleeping space.

The Shenandoah Suite

Our large Shenandoah Suite has a king size bed and a queen size pull out sofa if needed for up to 2 additional guests. Rate is $340 per night on weekends. The Shenandoah Suite sleeps a total of 4.

Sugar Hollow Pointe Vacation Home

About one mile from The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm, we have a new luxury 5 bedroom Vacation Home also available for rent. The home has beautiful mountain views from a large great room, deck, screened-in porch, full kitchen, and TV lounge and hot tub. The Vacation Home sleeps up to 10 people. There are three king beds, one queen bed, and a bedroom with two twins beds.  The rate for the vacation home rental is $1200 per night.  The Vacation Home sleeps a total of 10. Common Areas and Facilities:

The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm has common areas and grounds available for small wedding ceremonies and group events at the Main Inn. Outdoors, we have a stone patio that overlooks our pasture with views to the Blue Ridge Mountains.  On the second floor, we have a large deck that overlooks the herb garden, pasture and brook on the property with views to Pasture Fence Mountain. Indoors, we have various rooms for sitting and relaxing as well as our Great Room with a large wood burning fireplace. The Great Room can be arranged to handle a small wedding ceremony, conference, or family gathering.

Meals:

For those staying at the Main Inn, Farmhouse, and Shenandoah Suite, a full country breakfast is included in the rate each morning. Guests staying at the Vacation Home will have provisions for a continental breakfast available in the home.

Blocking Rooms, Deposit and Cancellation Policy:

The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm does not allow standard blocking of rooms. Reservations must be secured by deposit according to the following guidelines.

For reservations requests of 4 rooms or more, a check deposit equivalent to $100 per room from the party organizer is required to secure the reservation. For cancelled room reservations, the deposit is only refundable if the cancellation is made at least 6 weeks in advance. This policy also applies to the Vacation Home rental, which requires a deposit of $500.

For reservations requests of 3 rooms or less, a credit card must be made available to hold against the room to secure the reservation.  No charge will be made on the card prior to the stay. In the case of a cancellation within 2 weeks of the reservation, the card will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to one room night for each room cancelled.

Once the reservation is secured, final payment arrangements can be made at the time of your stay.

Facilities Fee:

A facilities fee may be required depending on the planned use of the inn, such as in the case of small wedding ceremony, conference event, or a large brunch.

Extended Stay Discount:

Guests coming for your event or gathering may wish to extend their stay in order to tour the Charlottesville area wineries, historical sites, The University of Virginia, and natural attractions. For those guests wishing to book additional nights at the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm, we offer a $20 discount per room/night on the additional days.

Organizing Your Stay:

We require the contact information for all couples in your party, including name, phone number and email address. The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm will communicate with individual couples in regard to directions and arrangements for arrival times, as well as any requests for extended stay discounts. For groups planning to pay for rooms on an individual basis, we require a credit card number to hold each room.

We ask that a main point of contact handle all room assignments according to your own budgets and requirements for amenities, first floor needs, needs for extra beds, etc.
